Do Not Miss Edinburgh v Ulster Rugby Event in Edinburgh This April

What a Six Nations that was, eh? To say it was a nail biter would be an understatement. And while many folks think that’s the rugby over for another year, those in the know really know that this month is when local action kicks into gear with the Guinness PRO14 in full swing.

Now truth be told the Gunners didn’t get to where we wanted them to last year, finishing 5th in Conference B, but after Ireland’s underwhelming performance recently (and many of those players in the Ulster team) the showdown at BT Murrayfield this month is going to be a good one to say the least.

When is the Edinburgh v Ulster game?

The game takes place on Friday 12th April with a kick-off time of 7:35 pm.

It is the 20th round of the Guinness PRO14 tournament.

Where does the Edinburgh v Ulster game take place?

The game is taking place at BT Murrayfield, which is just under 2 miles from Fraser Suites Edinburgh.

Where can I find accommodation near BT Murrayfield?

Our location is fantastic if you’re looking for somewhere special to stay for the night or visiting over the weekend.

For those making a weekend of it, we would recommend one of our serviced one bedroom apartments. They’re very popular with couples who have come to Edinburgh for a romantic weekend, even if there’s a bit of rugby thrown in the mix. These suites have their own entertainment systems, a separate living and kitchen area, and a queen size bed.

If you want to soak up life as a local, these suites are just the ticket.

I’m visiting from Northern Ireland; how do I get to Fraser Suites Edinburgh?

Are you flying in from Belfast International or George Best Airport? We have fantastic transport links from Edinburgh International Airport that will get you from the plane to your room in no time at all.

The Airlink 100 bus runs every 7 minutes and leaves passengers off at Waverley Bridge, 150m from our front door.

The tram link is great as well but does have more stops on the way. You’d need to get off in Princes St (the stop is right by Primark and Superdrug) and walk up alongside the magnificent National Gallery.

A taxi from the airport will take about 30 minutes.

How can I get to the Edinburgh v Ulster game?

The most convenient way to get to the game via public transport is by tram. A lovely walk down the mound to the Princes St tram stop will see you whizzing to the game in under 20 minutes. Alternatively, a taxi or rideshare will take 15 minutes as traffic heading west does pick up before the game.

If you need any assistance getting to the game simply get in touch with the reception and we’ll be happy to help.
